Hi, we are a newly married couple building our first home. We are moving from a 2 bedroom apartment in an inner city suburb to an estate in the northern region of Melbourne. We are building a Porter Davis home - Cremorne 34. I have been inspired by reading the Homeone forum to put together this blog ... yes another Cremorne to add to the list!! We are building the 34 square home, which we feel will be big enough for us.
We have been through the process of sales, tender, colour selection, contract, tile selection and are now just waiting to start building. It has been frustrating at times and I have had empathy for the others that have expressed this aswell. We have a starting month of April - yes it is April now - yet we still have not been given a start date - I guess it will be sometime in the next 28 days......
I hope to get the hang of this blog thing and add to it regularly throughout the next 9 months (or so).

Wow - another Cremorne. There seems to be quite a few all at different stages. We will look forward to visiting your blog and checking your progress. We are currently chasing Bernadette & Perry with their house. We started on the 14th of February.

Hey congrats on the new property! It's going to be a bumpy but fun ride! Whereabouts is your land? Like myself, we've just purchased a land in March and should be building latest by August.
